What are the B-School categories?

Modified on Wed, 03 Apr 2024 at 08:55 PM

The B-School categorization is done based on multiple parameters. Placements are generally the most important parameter, followed by brand value, immediate return on investment, student feedback, diversity, regional strength of an institute, and mentor inputs.

It's not possible to 'rank' institutes - even the NIRF ranking is flawed because you can not capture all the variables that matter. The variables that matter to universities don't matter to students. So, we don't do rankings.

So, A1 is the best followed by A2 and so on. If you are comparing any college from A1 with any college from A2, you will see that the college from A1 is better. However, within a category, you need to consider different factors of priority for yourself and decide. For example, between FMS and IIM-L, there are students who have chosen FMS over IIM-L because of ROI, but there are people who have chosen IIM-L over FMS for the tag.
