What do I do to get the best of the Study Plan session?

While the below steps are not prescriptive, many students who have followed these steps have reported positive results

  • Step 1: Watch the below videos on myIMS Portal https://myimsv3.imsindia.com/ under One to Many Mentorship Sessions

  • Step 2: Complete any topic of your choice in module 1 and take a Benchmarking test on myIMS portal

    • Choose one topic among QA/DILR/VARC in module 1

    • Watch pre-class videos, make notes

    • Solve a pre-class quiz (available only for QA)

    • Solve the questions in Class Exercise, even if you have attended the class and solved these questions already (not available for SLP students)

    • Solve the Practice exercise questions

    • Use revise with AI option to solve similar questions or to become better at question types you got wrong (only available for Quantitative Aptitude topics)

    • Finally take the Benchmarking test for the topic

    • This entire process requires 3-4 days and necessitates that you focus on the task at hand and plan well on how to achieve the milestone which is taking a Benchmarking Test

    • Access path myIMS Portal -> Prepare-> Module 1 -> <Any Topic in QA/DILR/VARC>Benchmarking Test

  • Step 3: Add a few details about yourself in this template - Study Plan template - Google Sheets

  • Step 4: Book a myPLAN

    • Check with your batch mentor if they have opened any slots

    • Go to myIMS portal- https://myimsv3.imsindia.com/ and book a slot

    • If you have booked a virtual myPLAN session you will receive an email with a link to Google meet. If it’s an in-center session, make yourself available at least 10 mins before the meeting time

    • Bear in mind you cannot cancel a session within 24hrs of the scheduled time.

  • Provide your mentor with either a soft copy or a hard copy of your study plan and profile details. This will help the mentor give you personalized mentoring.

  • Have a pen and paper and make note of the mentoring advice provided by your mentor and follow up on that in a disciplined manner.
