Can I take the SimCLATs from my Android/iPhone?
Ans: SimCLATs are centered Proctored mock tests. Students can attempt SimCLATs either at the center or at their home. SimCLATs cannot be taken from Android/iPhone.
Will I be notified when SimCLATs are released?
Ans: Students will be notified before each SimCLAT is released through text messages and Whatsapp/Telegram groups.
Where can I see the schedule/dates of the SimCLATs?
Ans: The schedule of SimCLATs is shared with all the students at the time of enrollment. It can also be accessed in the notification tab on myIMS portal.
Can I take a Proctored SimCLAT after the window if I missed taking the test during the window?
Ans: Yes, the SimCAT will be enabled in the Test section on myIMS one day after its respective test-window is over, though you will not be able to get the national test rankings.
When and how can I check my SimCLAT Score & Percentiles?
Ans: You will see your SimCLAT score after three-four days of taking the test and submitting the OMRs. You can also view the scorecard later from the Test Dashboard. You will be able to see your scores, All India Rank and Cut-Offs in the ‘Analytics’ tab on myIMS a day after the test-window closes.
What is the difference between taking a Proctored SimCLAT during the window and after the test window?
Ans: If you take a SimCLAT after the test window, you will only get a valid score but not an All India Rank (AIR).
Can I get an all India ranking for all SimCLATs?
Ans: All India Ranking is allocated only for PROCTORED SimCLATs taken within the window period.
What is the difference between Proctored and Take-Home SimCLATs?
Ans: The Proctored SimCLATs can be taken either at the nearest IMS Centre or from your home. If taken the test within the stipulated window period, students get the All India Rank & score along with detailed analytics.
The Take-Home SimCLATs can be taken at home at any time once they are released as per your convenience. Students will only get detailed analytics.
Is the level of difficulty of Proctored and Take-Home SimCATs the same?
Ans: Yes, the difficulty level for the proctored and Take-Home SimCLATs are the same.
