A myPlan is a personalized mentorship session designed to provide tailored guidance to help you excel in your GATE preparation. These one-on-one sessions are conducted by experienced mentors and focus on critical areas such as:
Setting goals and creating personalized study plans.
Developing subject-wise preparation strategies.
Analyzing test performance and planning revisions.
Post-GATE guidance for college selection and PSU/M.S. interviews.
How to book a myPlan?
Login to the myIMS Portal: Use your IMS PIN and password to log in at myIMS.
Navigate to the myPlan Section: Go to myIMS > MyPage > myPlan.
Book a Slot: Select an available session from the calendar and confirm your booking.
Confirmation: The details of your booked session will appear below the booking area.
How to attend a myPlan?
Join Now Button: 5 minutes before your session starts, the "Join Now" button will appear next to your session details.
Start Your Session: Click the button to join and interact with your mentor live.
How many myPlan slots will I get?
The number of myPlan sessions you receive depends on your enrolled program:
Classroom, Hybrid, and Online Programs: Students enrolled in these programs will receive 12 myPLAN sessions, covering all critical preparation milestones, including:
myPlan-1: Goal Setting and Personalized Plan
myPlan-2: Study Plan – Engineering Mathematics
myPlan-3: Study Plan – Fundamental Subjects
myPlan-4: How to Attempt and Analyze Tests
myPlan-5: Study Plan – Intermediate Subjects
myPlan-6: Study Plan – General Aptitude
myPlan-7: Study Plan – Advanced Subjects
myPlan-8: Revision Strategy
myPlan-9: Mock GATE Analysis-1
myPlan-10: Mock GATE Analysis-2
myPlan-11: Post-GATE Guidance
myPlan-12: M.S./PSU Mock Interview
Self-Learning Program (SLP): Students enrolled in the SLP can choose any 3 sessions from the above list based on their specific needs and preferences.
