Pre-SimCATs are mocks that are recommended for long-term aspirants (if someone has started preparing for CAT 24, say from February 2024) to get an idea of how to face an actual mock. The pattern is similar to that of the SimCATs but the questions are primarily from the first two modules so that the students are in their comfort zone while attempting these tests.
Proctored SimCATs are full-length mocks that are based on the latest CAT pattern in terms of sectional/topical split and level of difficulty (there will be some surprises though, so that you are prepared for all probable eventualities). These are conducted across a 4-day window wherein, aspirants have to book a slot and then appear for the test. There are detailed analytics (including rank, percentile, video solutions, question-wise analysis and AI-enabled practice for the QA and DILR sections)
Take-home SimCATs are full-length mocks that are based on the latest CAT pattern and are similar to the proctored SimCATs. They can however be taken at your convenience once they are released and are valuable add-ons to the proctored SimCATs. All take-home SimCATs have video solutions and benchmarking tables for you to understand your percentile.
